A location is any place you sell from or keep stock: a shop, a food truck, a market stall or a back-room warehouse. Billing is per selling location.

Add a location

  1. Settings → Business locations → Add.
  2. Enter the name customers see, the address and a phone number for the receipt.
  3. Choose the invoice layout (receipt design) and invoice scheme (number format, for example DXB-0001).
  4. Choose the default selling-price group if this location uses its own prices.
  5. Save.

Registers

A register is one till: a tablet, PC or phone where sales are rung up. Each location includes registers by plan (1 on Essentials, up to 3 on Growth). Extra registers are an add-on per month, priced for your country on the pricing page.

Warehouses and storefronts

A location that only stores stock (no sales) can be added for transfers and does not need a register.

Tips

  • Name locations the way staff speak about them (“Main Street”, “Truck 2”) so reports are easy to read.
  • If two shops are in places with different sales tax, give each its own default tax group.
